Landau Horse Carriage

Landau Carriage

The Landau horse carriage had four wheels with front and back passenger seats that faced each other. There was a roof in two sections that could be lowered or detached. This print was from an 1809 "The Repository of Arts, Literature, Commerce, Manufactures, Fashions and Politics" publication commonly known as Ackermann's Repository (1809-1828).
