- For the Tea Party place a lace cover or one of drawn-work, circular in shape, on a round table, and a block of ice draped with smilax and holly in the center.
- A Japanese umbrella edged with lanterns at intervals and a fanciful Japanese doll will look pretty in the center for this holiday Tea Party.
- In preparing the ice for the table decoration for the Tea Party, choose a square block then chip in the center a hollow. Then after laying a napkin in a silver dish, place the ice upon it and cover the dish with greens, filling the cavity in the center with flowers.
