This article was originally designed as a photograph frame for traveling with two pockets to hold treasured photos. It would easily be folded-up and carried in a trunk.
Today this design can be adapted to make a one-of-a-kind Christmas card holder simply by adding a few additional panels with pockets. Simply fill with holiday cards and hang for all to see.
Furthermore this piece, filled with a collection of 19th century photographs, would make a pleasing addition to a bare wall in a Victorian decorated room. |
