The fabulous double slipper bateau tub introduces contrasting shades of green and blue verdigris on a metallic copper-coated cast iron tub. The exterior appearance is that of an old copper tub transformed with verdigris patina over a few decades of life. Fashioned by applying three coats of copper coating, followed by specially-prepared aging solutions, the natural verdigris effect is shielded by four layers of high-grade lacquer. None of the patina can then stain floors or clothing and exterior cleaning is made very simple by using just a soft cloth.
